Term 1 Week 4

This week I marked out my timber for the outside frame of the box.

I cut the finger joints and made the fit.

From the drawing below you can see I have also marked out the through housed joints

Tools used:  steel ruler, marking gauge, try square, tenon saw, chisel, mallet, bench hook.

We are making a Nought's & Crosses Box.
So far we have

• done safety tests
• drawn the orthographic drawing on a drawing board
• drawn the box in Google Sketch Up
